The Jharkhand government has agreed to cancel the JPSC preliminary examination amid continuing student protests over alleged recruitment irregularities.
The government, however, declined to cancel the JSSC Combined Graduate Level examination.
Three serving JPSC members submitted their resignations.
Protesting students have announced plans to march to the Assembly.
The developments have kept recruitment transparency and examination administration at the centre of political debate in the State.
