Maruti Suzuki expects India’s passenger-car market to expand to between 6.1 million and 6.3 million units by FY2030-31.

Domestic passenger-vehicle sales reached a record 4.64 million units in FY2025-26.

The company has also outlined plans for seven new SUVs over the next five years.

The forecast reflects expectations of continued expansion in India’s passenger-vehicle market and strong competition in the SUV segment.
